Work Health.
Green Physical Therapy works closely with the team of workers’ compensation professionals providing solutions for injured workers through prevention, management, treatment and case closure.
Work Hardening & Conditioning:
When injured workers meet established short and long-term goals via physical therapy or hand/occupational therapy but are unable to return to work due to remaining functional deficits or deconditioning, they may benefit from a higher level of therapeutic intervention designed specifically with a primary goal of returning to work.
Injured workers who benefit most from these programs are usually at least 30 days out from their injury and have a medium or higher physical demand category job to return to. These are full body intensive conditioning programs that focus on work simulation activities to get injured workers back to work.
Work Hardening:
A highly structured, goal-oriented, individualized intervention program designed to return the employee to work. Our Work Hardening programs utilize real or simulated work activities designed to restore physical, behavioral and vocational functions. Work Hardening addresses the issues of productivity, safety, physical tolerances and worker behaviors.
Work Conditioning:
An intensive, goal-oriented conditioning program designed to restore neuromuscular and musculoskeletal function including strength, power, endurance, joint mobility, ROM, motor control, cardiovascular endurance and functional abilities. The primary objective of the Work Conditioning program is to restore physical capacity and function to enable the injured worker to return to his or her pre-injury job.
Pelvic Rehabilitation
Pelvic health rehabilitation primarily addresses disorders that are associated with the pelvis, the bony structure between the legs and spine, nerves and the pelvic floor muscles. Pelvic floor muscles provide support for the organs within the pelvis. General pelvic health helps to control the bowel and bladder, plays a role in sexual activities, and provides stability through posture and pelvic floor muscles through their attachments to various ligaments in the pelvis.
Patients suffering from Pelvic Dysfunction often experience:
Some common diagnosis:
- Urinary Incontinence/Dysfunction
