Lisa K. Ennis received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biomechanics from UC Davis in 1992. She received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Institute of Physical Therapy in 1996. She has practiced in outpatient orthopedics in the Temecula/Murrieta area for 18 years.
Lisa participated in competitive athletics growing up and then played collegiate softball. It was in college when she developed both her passion for running and her desire to become a physical therapist. She has treated orthopedic injuries throughout her career. As her experience deepened, she found herself specifically drawn to athletic injuries and even more so to the demands required of the body to run injury free. As with any other sport, there are specific mechanics required of our bodies to run successfully. This is true for both the recreational and competitive runner. Regardless of the runner’s experience level, attention must be paid to how that runner’s unique musculoskeletal bias coalesces with the theoretical ideal posture and movement form while running. Lisa’s passion for running and studying biomechanics, fuels her desire to help patients to achieve their personal goals.
